Purpose:
Job Title: Casual Registered Practical Nurse
Location: Ottawa, willing to travel to satellite clinic locations

Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and a member of the Specialty Team, your responsibilities include:
- Sterile preparation of patients prior to intravitreal injection including use of tonometer for IOP findings, necessary drops, and topical anesthetic.
- Answering questions and offering post-care instructions to the patient.
- Consulting with Retina Specialists regarding any findings during preparations.
- Willingness to travel to multiple clinics in the area.
Qualifications:
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Pharmacy or healthcare knowledge is an asset.
- Travel flexibility; driver's license is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Exceptional customer service skills; empathetic to patients’ needs.
- Superior organizational and administrative skills.
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
