Peachland Pharmacy is welcoming applicants for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to assist the team in Peachland, BC.

As a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, you will operate in accordance with the scope of practice and standards of practice as outlined by the College of Pharmacists BC.

*Job Description*

· Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners

· Ensure that a prescription is complete and authentic

· Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies

· Prepare and process prescriptions by performing duties such as entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, packaging, or repackaging medications

· Ensure the accuracy of a prepared prescription

· Perform the final check of a prepared prescription

· Ensure the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records

*Job Requirements*

· Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program

· Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists

· Above average oral and written communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team

· Excellent customer service skills

· Compounding experience is an asset

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
