ALC is seeking a summer intern that is currently studying Supply Chain, Logistics, Buying to join our Inventory Control Center (ICC) team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our existing team as well as other key initiatives across our network of over 70 locations. Your primary responsibilities will include handling rush requests, supporting factory direct orders, resolving shipment issues from Distribution Centers (DCS) and suppliers, processing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests, and managing sales order cancellations.

It is imperative that the incumbent excels in collaboration and communication, as you will be working closely with field personnel to ensure seamless execution of our initiatives. Your ability to navigate complex logistical challenges and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency will be essential in driving the success of our operations.

Supply Chain : Responsible for rapid response and resolution for supply chain requests from across all Canadian regions. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Organizing rush transfers of stock between locations.

  • Acting as the intermediary between the warehouse/supplier and sales teams for shipment issues (and the point-of-contact for resolution of such issues).

  • Creating RMA’s. 

  • Responsible for maintaining the ICC form.

  • Responsible for Sales Order (SO) cancellation.

  • Supporting the existing buying and ICC teams.

  • Currently enrolled in a : Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce or relevant field. 

  • Experience: Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales or Project management. Customer facing experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge : Oracle ERP, Google Suite, web analytics tools (Google analytics, Google search console).

  • Customer-centric minded and regularly watching market trends in relation to customer satisfaction. 

  • Fluently bilingual in French and in English (speaking and excellent writing) to deserve internal and external stakeholders across Canada.
