As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Help to manage the Gift Card Program, including both SIR portfolio-wide and brand-specific initiatives.
  • Assist in managing new retail expansion into grocery for SIR concepts.
  • Provide guest and operations support on gift card and retail related inquiries.
  • Provide support in executing against promotional activities according to annual marketing calendar.
  • Work with our internal I.T. department to set up promotional codes (managing QR code development and database), email blasts and SMS campaigns related to both national and local store promotions – as well as to support new initiatives, as required.
  • Assist with partner relationships and programming, as required.
  • Provide administrative support for the Marketing Department.
  • Participate in special projects, as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary/University Degree – Marketing or Commerce preferred.
  • One to two years’ experience in Marketing, Sales or Agency side within a fast-paced industry. Food services/hospitality experience may be seen as an asset but is not required.
  • Has reliable transportation.
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be capable and savvy to manage an online marketing tool and back end set up for promotional activity (QR codes, email blasts).
  • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques, and proven writing skills.
  • Print production knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Must be highly motivated, with great enthusiasm.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and display flexibility within a multi-task, fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate, respond to and lead change.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
  • High level of professional maturity and business integrity.
  • Ability to nurture and influence productive, collaborative and communicative relationships within, across and outside of the organization.
