Position Summary

To support the Chief Engineer, Maintenance Manager, and Plant Manager, and liaise with other departments to determine necessary repairs.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain various utilities equipment
  2. Provide direction on operational projects
  3. Participate in strategic planning
  4. Collaborate with QA team for quality standards
  5. Maintain equipment logbook and prepare for inspections
  6. Manage building firefighting equipment
  7. Operate and maintain the waste water treatment plant
Knowledge & Skills

Skills in mechanical engineering, project management, facilities management, systems engineering, equipment maintenance, design & drafting, and computer applications. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in safety standards, manufacturing operations, and CMMS programs.

Experience and Education

Certified 4th Class Power Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
