Story Behind the Need:

Business group: Global AI & ML (OU20015226) supports the AI Enablement team with project delivery, model inventory, community engagement, and LLM inventory.
Deploy productivity-oriented AI tools across the bank (employee-facing). Scope includes:

  1. Deployment of off-the-shelf GenAI tools for large groups of employees,
  2. GenAI solutions development for specific groups,
  3. Deployment of multiple OCR use cases across the bank.

Project: Increase AI awareness and expand its footprint to streamline processes, enhance productivity, mitigate risk, and foster primary customer relationships.

Candidate Value Proposition:

The Product Owner will have the opportunity to support the AI Enablement team with project delivery, model inventory, community engagement, and LLM inventory.

Typical Day in Role:
  1. Establish procedures to align with established AI policies and regulations.
  2. Active engagement with client’s AI community for collaboration and innovation.
  3. Management of relationships with AI vendors and external partners.
  4. Manage AI product roadmaps.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  1. Solid understanding of AI and ML.
  2. 8 years of experience working as Scrum Master/Project Manager for projects with AI and ML.
  3. Excellent communication skills to work with different stakeholders across the organization and excellent presentation skills with executives.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  1. Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM) is preferred.
  2. Product owner certification CSPO is preferred.
  3. Knowledge of GCP is an asset.
  4. CPMAI certification is an asset.
Soft Skills Required:
  1. Excellent communication skills to work with different stakeholders across the organization and excellent presentation skills with executives.
  2. Ability to work as part of a team.
  3. Ability to work independently.
  4. Solution-oriented.
Education & Certificates:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering or a related field.
  2. Product owner certification CSPO.
  3. CPMAI certification.
Best VS. Average Candidate:

The best candidate is someone who has executed end-to-end AI and ML projects. Excellent Communication and Executive Presentation Skills: The ideal candidate should possess exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. They should be adept at conveying complex technical information in a clear, concise manner and have experience presenting to senior leadership and executives.

2 Rounds of interviews:
1st round with Hiring manager – Video call Ms teams 1 hour – Talk about work experience.
2nd round – Hiring manager and VP – Video call Ms teams 30 mins – Talk about experience and behavioral questions and assess communication and presentation skills.
