Your Challenge

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technologist to join our local team in Moncton, NB. Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local infrastructure projects to life; but you will also have a chance if desired to collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions

Your Responsibilities

Contribute to the overall planning, design, and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:

  1. Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  2. Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final
  3. Generating material quantities and cost estimates
  4. Preparing presentation graphics and report figures
  5. Coordinating project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others
  6. Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner
  7. Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards
  8. Complete site inspections of civil projects
  9. Mentor and support a team of civil technologists
The Skills & Knowledge You Bring

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent); 5+ years of relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (. water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads; Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel and Autoturn; and Strong work ethic and communication skills.
