We are looking for a compassionate and caring LPN with a passion for the elderly to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/ Assisted Living Facility in the *Interior BC, British Columbia. *

*Contract:*
* *3-4 *_*months contract*_ _(depending on your availability_) with possibility of *extension. *
* _Short term contracts can also be discussed _

*Location:*
* Kamloops
* Salmon Arm
* Nelson

*Start Date:*
* ASAP

*Compensation:*
* $45.00 per hour _*+ travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance*_

*Responsibilities and duties:*
* Performs assessments.
* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*
* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
* Current CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Additional pay:

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Night shift
* On call
* Weekends as needed
