THE ROLE Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs.
Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
Under the supervision of the Community Recreation Coordinator, the Aerobics Instructor plans, organizes and delivers aerobics classes. They will prepare class schedules, design programs and assist with the advertising and public relations.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma and some years of experience conducting aerobics classes
Aerobics Instructors Certification
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In planning, organizing, and delivering aerobic classes
In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants
In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
In providing customer service
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
