Dentist - Locum

Overview
We are seeking a Locum Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make a positive impact on the oral health of our community. Must be available to cover the month of October.

Duties
- Perform routine dental examinations and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions and oral diseases
- Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Create treatment plans and discuss options with patients
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions
- Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Dentrix, and CAD for accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses

Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid RCDSO license in good standing
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
