What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Technical Claims Adjuster

The Senior Claims Adjuster will be part of our National Specialty Claims team and will be responsible for delivering Northbridge's industry-leading claims service. The successful candidate is responsible for providing efficient and prompt investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of moderately complex casualty and litigation claims in accordance with established best practices.

The Specialty Claims team is responsible for Class Actions, US & International, Abuse, Surety, Cyber, and Bad Faith claims.

We want your talent

If you’re great at:

  • Completing coverage analysis

  • Investigating liability and damages

  • Evaluating exposures

  • Customer Experience

  • Negotiating

And if you have:

  • Post-secondary education – University Degree or College Diploma.

  • Actively pursuing CIP/FCIP designation is an asset.

  • Minimum 3 years of Casualty and Litigation Claims adjusting experience.

  • General working knowledge of claims settlement, policy wordings, insurance contracts, fraud investigations, serious losses, and coverage questions.

  • Familiarity with applicable case law/arbitration decisions and provincial legislation.

  • Familiarity in establishing and monitoring litigation disposition plans.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
