Key duties include:Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with Design Managers to design learning solutions tailored to business needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of course content.eLearning Development: Utilize advanced eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate RISE, and Adobe Creative Cloud) to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning modules.Multimedia and Engagement: Integrate multimedia, gamification, and social learning elements into courses to enhance learner engagement, retention, and overall effectiveness.Stakeholder Communication: Participate in meetings with key stakeholders to review project progress, adjust timelines, and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.Accessibility Compliance: Apply accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines. Ensure learning solutions are accessible to all learners, including those with disabilities.Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support related to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course delivery, addressing any issues that arise during the development or implementation phases.Key Technologies and Tools:Articulate Storyline 360: Used to create interactive eLearning modules with multimedia-rich content that supports varied learning styles.Articulate RISE: Utilized to develop responsive and mobile-friendly courses, ensuring seamless learning experiences across devices.Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator): Used for graphic design, creating infographics, visual content, and multimedia learning materials.Camtasia 9: Occasionally used for video editing and screen recording to enhance instructional content.Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel): Regularly employed for documentation, presentations, reports, and other administrative tasks.JAWS: Implemented to ensure accessibility for visually impaired learners and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.Must-Have Skills and Experience:Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a learning development or instructional design role.Post-secondary diploma in Graphic Design, Adult Education, or a related field.Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline (3 & 360), Camtasia, Audacity, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).Intermediate to advanced HTML coding skills for customizing course content and integrating learning modules with Learning Management Systems (LMS).Proven experience in the full instructional design lifecycle, from curriculum design to course development and delivery, across various learning channels (eLearning, blended learning, classroom, virtual classroom, mobile, social learning, gamification).Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines while ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills to navigate competing priorities effectively.Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience:Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Dreamweaver for advanced video editing and interactive content creation.Familiarity with accessibility standards and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) to create inclusive learning experiences for diverse learners.Experience in the financial services sector, understanding the unique training needs and compliance requirements of the industry.Bilingual proficiency (English/French) to facilitate communication in diverse learning environments.Soft Skills:Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and stakeholders.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities to design and implement innovative learning experiences.Ability to stay informed about emerging trends in learning technology and adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.Language Proficiency:English: Advanced proficiency in both written and verbal communication is essential for effective course creation, stakeholder collaboration, and project management.
