We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse* to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted-living and long-term care facilities, *Discovery Harbour Care Centre.*

*Location: * 850- 14th Ave., Campbell River, BC, V9W 4H4

*Benefits: *Full time positions available. Full health and dental after 3 months.

*Position Summary:*

- Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to residents.

- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

- Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*

- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program

- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC

- Current CPR and First Aid certification

- Excellent written and oral communication

- Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset

- Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long-term care and nursing a big asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.84 per hour

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Weekends as needed

Experience:
* Senior care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
