The Catalog Analyst position reports to the Group Manager of the Data Management Services Department of JNPSoft. The Catalog Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, cleaning, and storing data using different approaches and our in-house tool. The main objective for this role will be transforming raw data into a standardized, meaningful, and unique data set for auto parts catalog listings. The Catalog Analyst should be able to adapt to many different levels of data accuracy.

This role is essential since it defines the quantity and quality of data the company can process and output. This role takes care of the management of customer application data within the Automotive Aftermarket Industry as well as the expansion and support of existing customers regarding the TecAlliance solution portfolio.

The location for this role can be anywhere in North America (US, CA, MX).

Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, the Catalog Analyst will:

  • Review the request to determine its type and plan the steps towards its completion.
  • Implement data standards by using our in-house tools and Excel to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.
  • Log some stats and results in our ticketing system and communicate the outcome to the client.
  • Collaborate with the clients to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.
Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of demonstrative experience.
  • Full understanding of the ACES and PIES Standards.
  • Experience working with application and OEM data.
  • Ability to work in a well-structured, independent, goal-oriented, and efficient manner.
  • Passionate about automotive technology and have a good understanding of business processes.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Basic statistical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Critical thinking abilities.
  • Data analysis and exploration abilities.
  • Data cleaning and preparation abilities.
  • Cognitive flexibility.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
Education

Associate degree or Technical degree preferred.
