Main Responsibilities & Scope

General Engineering:

  • Liaising with other process, corporate engineers, and plant engineers working on associated plants and projects.
  • Working closely with other specialists, including personnel responsible for quality control, plant maintenance, and commercial colleagues.
  • Preparing reports, flow diagrams, and charts.

Engineering Design:

  • Designing, installing, and commissioning new production units.
  • Monitoring development, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Applying principles of mass, momentum, and heat transfer to process and equipment design.
  • Improving efficiency, output, and safety of a plant.

Project Management:

  • Identifying Project Stakeholders.
  • Gathering and documenting project requirements.
  • Leading the procurement process.
  • Managing project scope, cost, and schedule.
Education, Language, Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) with at least 5-10 years relevant design and project management experience.

Skills: Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office and Project software, AutoCAD, and similar design software. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications: Ability to work with minimal supervision, oversee the work of contractors, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
