Layout Design Engineer

As an Analog/Mixed Signal Layout Engineer, you will take ownership of crafting transistor-level layouts for analog and mixed signal circuits. Your role includes intricate device-level floor planning, strategic placement, precise routing, and thorough physical verification to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engineer high-quality analog and mixed signal layouts at the transistor level.
- Conduct comprehensive floor planning, component placement, and routing with attention to detail.
- Resolve physical verification challenges to achieve clean layouts and meet the target results.
- Generate layout review documentation, uphold quality standards, and deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

- Proficient understanding of the Analog Layout Process, from device placement to GDSII file release.
- Familiar with layout design workflow, including floor planning, device placement, routing, and physical verification procedures.
- Strong foundation in electrical and electronic principles.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and expertise in CMOS and FinFET technology paradigms.
- Awareness of CMOS fabrication techniques and various phases of the chip manufacturing process.
- Fundamental understanding of electromigration, other reliability concerns, ESD protection, etc.
- Practical experience with EDA tools specifically tailored for custom mixed signal layout designs would be beneficial.
- A commitment to continuous learning and the pursuit of innovative methodologies.
- Autonomous, meticulous, and equipped with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
