Millwright PositionFittings currently has one (1) position available for a Millwright.
- Wage: $41.20 per hour
- Shift Premium: $0.75
- Shift: Night Shift 11 pm - 7 am
- Troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.
- Overhaul and install new equipment.
- Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ensure that PMs are completed in a timely manner and documented accordingly.
- Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
- Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
- Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills of hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Work with a wide array of precision tools, such as Vernier Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, OD tapes.
- Work with other trades’ groups and contractors to complete project assignments.
- Operate grinder, saw, lathe, and milling machines to make customized parts or repairs.
- Fabricate custom parts, fixtures, and guarding by means of arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting.
- Assemble and install machinery and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies.
- MS Office and computer Maintenance management software Computer skills.
- Coverage in the Pipe Plant.
- All other relevant duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- 433A Millwright certificate is required.
- 442A Electrician an asset.
- PLC programming experience is an asset.
- Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics.
- Ability to work on weekends.
- Ability to work other shifts and overtime.
