Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at St. Johns Hospital.
Under the direction of the Program Manager is responsible for the nursing care of assigned patients.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 rotating
St. Johns Hospital is a 21 acute-care bed facility. The Hospital serves the communities of Vanderhoof and the Saik'uz First Nation, as well as acting as a referral centre for the surrounding communities of Burns Lake, Fort St James and Fraser Lake. They are a full service hospital with 24/7 emergency and OR capabilities. St. Johns Hospital is a teaching facility for the University of Northern BC. Attached to the hospital is Stuart Nechako Manor that has 45 long-term care beds.
Vanderhoof has a population of 4,500 (2021). Nestled in the fertile Nechako Valley, on the banks of the Nechako River, rural Vanderhoof is the geographical centre of the province of British Columbia. Check out Vanderhoof where there is always something new to experience.

Qualfications
•Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Skills and Abilities:
•Ability to physically perform the duties of the job, and has the ability to organize the work.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
•Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
•Able to operate related equipment.
