Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Visionary: Develop and execute a cutting-edge enterprise architecture strategy focused on networking and data centers that supports our ambitious business goals.
  • Drive Cloud Adoption: Lead the organization's cloud adoption journey to enhance agility, optimize costs, and accelerate innovation.
  • Automate Networks through Software: Drive the transformation of network infrastructure towards software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) architectures.
  • Collaborative Strategist: Partner with Network, IT, operations, and business leaders to ensure our network architecture and data centers are robust, scalable, and future-ready.
  • Tech Trend Navigator: Evaluate emerging network technologies and architectures to maintain and extend our industry leadership.
  • Architecture Practitioner: Establish an architecture practice with associated processes, methods and frameworks
  • Leadership with Impact: Lead a team of enterprise architects, providing guidance and mentorship while fostering an innovative and results-driven environment.
  • Team Builder and Coach: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in network and data center architecture. Provide coaching, guidance, and growth opportunities to help team members reach their full potential and advance their careers.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the design and implementation of critical network infrastructure projects, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets, forecast resource needs, and invest wisely in technology that drives significant returns for the business.
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of current and emerging network technologies, including SDN, cloud services, and hybrid data center solutions.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture with a strong focus on networking, cloud, and data center infrastructures.
  • Experience in process and systems thinking, with emphasis on strategic deployement
  • Proven track record of developing architecture in large-scale, complex environments.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire, motivate, and grow multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Additional Information:

For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
