What will you do?
- Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
- Must meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must have Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license.
- Must have certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D).
- Must have an Ozone Depletion Prevention certificate (ODP).
- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
- Must be able to progress through all classifications of this position.
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e., Electronics/electricity).
- Experience with generating HVAC leads and enrolling customers in new service plans is an asset.

- Appliance installation, maintenance, and repairs for residential customers.
- General and other inspections of all types of appliances for residential users.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate. Adhere to all safety rules.
- Explain the benefits of newer high efficient equipment to the customer.
- Maintain a company vehicle to a neat, clean, and safe standard.
- Promote Reliance Home Comfort products and services on every call.
- Wear Company provided uniform.
- Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need.
