Our client in the utility industry is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. They are looking for someone who can lead initiatives from start to the end of the project, and if you have experience with data projects like data archiving, data cleansing, or data warehousing, that would be a great fit.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders from Business, IT, and vendors to gather requirements, define system specifications, and ensure alignment across all parties.
  • Develop and maintain requirement-related documentation, including obtaining necessary approvals, and create detailed process and workflow documentation to outline current, future, and proposed states.
  • Prepare user training materials such as manuals and job aids to support effective system adoption and user engagement.
  • Define test strategies and develop test cases, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, and track defects to ensure the quality and functionality of the delivered solution.
  • Assist in coordinating project activities, monitor progress with stakeholders, prepare project-related documentation, and create presentation materials to support project communication and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant professional designation.
  • 5+ years working as a business analyst.
  • Experience with coordination and training.
  • Knowledge of standard computer skills - MS Office Suite, MS Visio, PDF, MS Project.
  • Experience with leading and facilitating large group presentations, and status updates.
  • Must have Quality Assurance testing experience – Functional, System Integration, UAT, Performance Benchmarking.
