Commercial Banking Houston - Commercial Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

The Commercial Relationship Manager supports the Bank’s mission through effective sales and service, targeted business development efforts and community involvement. Responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships in accordance with the Bank’s core values and the Bank’s prescribed sales process in an assigned area.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new business relationships.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodic review of existing loan arrangements.
  • Negotiate proper loan structures, selling the Bank's credit and non-credit products.
  • Accept special projects in support of the team and community involvement.
  • Maintain knowledge ofcorporate banking, credit and non-credit products, trust, real estate, treasury management and other bank functions.
  • Maintainknowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics, and other bank functions.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years Commercial Lending experience.
  • 5 years Financial Sales experience.
  • 3years managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Formal Credit Training
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and computer proficiency skills
  • Strong marketing, analytical and overall communication skills
  • Time management, organizational, and task management skills
