My client, a scale-up originally from USA disrupting the Insurance market focusing on Data and AI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team.This is a permanent role and will be fully remote. You can be based anywhere in Canada. The salary on offer ranges from $175,000 to $200,000. Sponsorship will not be offered for this position.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various products or software servicesDevelop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systemsDemonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineeringProduce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworksWork on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsRequirements4+ years of hands-on industry experience in full stack engineeringFamiliarity with event backbone and job pool platforms (Kafka, etc)4+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Python (Django) and have built complex backend systemsDemonstrated ability to pick up new technologies quickly and learn on the spotExperience in design and code reviews
