In ByKon we’re looking for an exceptional Sr. Java Backend Developer. You are responsible for the performance, stability, security, and speed of a given web application, handling all the behind-the-scenes functionality that makes everything the user sees and does possible.

Main responsibilities:

  • API Design and development
  • Generate recyclable code libraries to calculate, process data, move users through business logic, and retrieve and store data to/from users
  • Implement ongoing security systems
  • Attend regular meetings with the front-end team to collaborate on problem resolution
  • Routinely inspect server code for speed and stability optimization
  • Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage and persistence
  • Write reusable code and libraries aligned to defined design patterns
  • Translate business functionality and objects into usable and clean code
  • Keep a backup library before any large changes to services
  • Test server-side functionality, database and API integrations, and fix bugs

Requirements:

  • + 3 years of experience in Fullstack Developer or similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related field
  • Advanced English

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of development tools and frameworks
  • Experience in RESTFUL, GIT CI/CD, SOAP, API, Web services, Ajax, XML, JSON
  • Experience in ASP.NET, JSON, Web API, LINQ, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Angular, Node

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and business logic
  • Understanding of accessibility, server compliance, and design patterns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
