Switch is hiring a General Manager to help scale our client base by 20x over the next 3-years, while driving retention and renewals. This role is particularly awesome for anyone looking to gain end-to-end company building experience – the role reports directly to the CEO and operates as a true General Manager: owning sales, partnerships, customer success and product management for a 15-20 client book of business.
By exceeding customer expectations, and unlocking transformative business results, the Switch Platform will grow and evolve with direct input from our customers. Switch is a product-focussed organization - the General Manager will be the voice of our customers internally and will own critical aspects of the product and feature roadmap.
ResponsibilitiesThe General Manager will own go-to-market strategy, integration partnerships with major tech companies (think: Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, LinkedIn), and continue to reshape the product roadmap with a focus on customer success, AI training and automation features. We are a fully remote, extremely collaborative team that defaults to open and extensive communication.
The General Manager will be the face of Switch to both enterprise and high growth clients - and a key player in driving critical transformation for the business, our technology and investors.
- Responsible for all aspects of successfully closing deals, onboarding and retaining Switch customers
- Lead relationship management with customers and partners, including leading technical and product/pricing/business discussions
- Support development and execution of international growth strategies
- Lead development of materials including playbooks, handbooks, product documentation, whitepapers, case studies, marketing material, presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups (engineering, machine-learning and data science)
- Perform deep customer discovery and disseminate feedback with the engineering team to inform feature and product direction and roadmap
- Manage execution of contracts, collaboration activities such as pilots, and task agreements between customers
- Support pipeline and forecasting efforts that inform strategy and planning
- Synthesize complex information and make actionable recommendations to the leadership team
- 6+ years experience in management consulting, technical sales or operator role at high grow technology company
- 6+ years of experience with client facing accountability and executive engagement
- Comfortable joining technical sales meetings with client engineering teams
- Initiative to push for the best possible results and develop scalable solutions
- Switch is located in Toronto, Canada, but operates fully remotely.
