Minimum Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering + 4 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  2. Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT
  3. 8+ years of experience in the engineering consulting industry in a building engineering group.
  4. Experience in transportation projects is a great asset.
  5. Familiarity with CEC, NECB, ABC, OESC, OBC, IEEE, NFPA, LEED and other industry standards and codes
  6. Experience in designing electrical power and lighting systems using AGi32
  7. Knowledge with power analysis tools such as SKM and/or ETAP
  8. Knowledge with Revit and AutoCAD
  9. Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing
  10. Familiarity with providing guidance and support for others within a department
  11. Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
  12. Ability to communicate, coordinate, and work well with others both internally and externally
  13. Strong verbal and written communication skills and commitment to technical excellence and quality
  14. Self-motivated and proactive
  15. Analytical, resourceful and detailed oriented
  16. A good team player and decision maker
  17. Valid driver’s license
