Enviro-Tech Mechanical HVAC Refrigeration Technician

Salary: $29 to $36 per hour

A day in the life:

As an Apprentice at Enviro-Tech, you will be responsible for servicing clients across Vancouver Island. Your duties will include:

  1. Accurate reporting and note-taking
  2. Equipment tagging and recording of model/serial numbers
  3. Safe refrigerant handling and log maintenance
  4. Supporting Journeyperson on service and construction tasks
  5. Basic HVAC/R maintenance and refrigeration practices
  6. Performing hardware tasks like hinges, door closers, and gaskets
  7. Gas reclamation and pressure testing
What you bring:

To join our team, you need to:

  • Be registered with ITA
  • Hold Ozone Depleting Substances certification
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Be able to lift 50lb and have strong mechanical/electrical skills
  • Fluent in English with availability for overtime and on-call duties
  • Willingness to travel as needed for work or training
