Island Health Division of Hematology/Oncology, is offering an opportunity a full-time Hematologist position in beautiful Nanaimo.

The majority of clinical work will provide care to patients managing benign hematology in an established community clinic in Nanaimo. There is also opportunity to collaborate with BC Cancer – Victoria for malignant hematology as well. Research and administrative interests will be taken under consideration; however, the emphasis of this position is clinical patient care.

The Division of Hematology/Oncology is affiliated with the University of British Columbia Island Medical Program, and this position includes clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate learners.

The Division provides services to a 350,000 direct referral population and a tertiary referral population of 750,000.
