Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components.
  • Setup and repair of printing systems and print heads.
  • Intermediate testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to repair and maintain systems.
  • Ability to setup and test systems.
  • Evaluate and develop new technologies with the Product Manager.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form at all levels.
  • 2-3 years experienced in all aspects of controls system design including motion control and vision systems.
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as SPC and Six Sigma.
  • Electrical Engineering designation or College technical program related to automation, electrical design or robotics.
  • Ability to travel internationally for periods up to 2-3 weeks.
  • Must have significant knowledge and practical experience in two or more of the following areas or some practical knowledge in many of the following areas:
    • Wiring panels and automated machinery.
    • Programming PLCs & HMIs.
    • Programming Vision Systems.
    • Programming Robots.
    • Programming Servo Systems.
    • Programming using C++, VB in a Microsoft environment, preferably .Net.
    • Database design and implementation.
    • Implementation of Industrial Networks.
    • Machine Safety.
