Our valued public sector client is looking to hire aSenior Network Architect to develop, implement and maintain a set of standardized IT systems within a classified environment
Background:
The client is responsible to support the Classified Test and Development Center to provideWide Area Network (WAN) emulation, virtual infrastructure, traffic generation, security testing and validation and remote connectivity.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing Networks using Dynamics routing protocols such as BGP, Multicast, QoS, or Taclane.
- Perform integration but not be limited to Network Infrastructure, Gateways, applications and security areas for the classified domains;
- Assess impact on networks and systems, and providing an impact analysis to the Technical Authority
- Perform 3rd and 4th line problem resolution to issues related to network services such as email, Active Directory, network equipment, security equipment(Crypto, Firewalls, gateways, proxies, filters, etc.), file and print services and various Windows-based and UNIX-based applications;
- Develop, review, modify and maintain Systems Design Specifications (SDS)
- Analyze new requirements and capability deficiencies and conduct options analysis for the systems/sub-systems.
- Review Requests for Change (RFCs) and identify and escalate issues to the engineering team;
