Your Opportunity

Our Grande Prairie office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team and own the following responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently prepare comprehensive year-end engagements and tax returns for a diverse clientele across various industries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  2. Prepare personal income tax returns, applying thorough knowledge of tax laws and personal finance strategies to benefit our clients.
  3. Manage and execute compilation engagements, including Notice to Reader financial statements, with a focus on precision and reliability to deliver clear, understandable financial insights.
  4. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, demonstrating a proactive approach in responding to their requests and suggestions, thereby enhancing client trust and satisfaction.
  5. Maintain effective and ongoing communication with team members, sharing progress updates and promptly addressing any issues to facilitate a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Your Experience And Education

  1. You bring a minimum of three years of professional experience within the public accounting sector, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting principles and a track record of delivering high-quality work.
  2. You possess a deep commitment to teamwork, client service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  3. Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to navigate complex financial scenarios and deliver strategic solutions.
  4. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both clients and team members.
  5. You have a comprehensive understanding of accounting policies and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge adeptly in a practical, business context.
