The Director of Privacy & Compliance is responsible for driving privacy compliance and strategic priorities related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in alignment with our Client’s Global Privacy framework. This role will develop privacy policies and processes in cooperation with leadership, IT, and operations, manage the NAPBS Accreditation process and audits, and perform annual privacy self-audits using IAPP standards. The Director of Privacy & Compliance will collaborate with various departments to identify and control privacy risks, monitor privacy activities, and report to senior management on privacy-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Privacy Compliance Leadership:

· Drive privacy compliance and strategic priorities for PII in alignment with the Client’s Global Privacy framework.

· Develop and implement privacy policies and processes in collaboration with leadership, IT, and operations.

2. Policy Development and Implementation:

· Develop privacy policies and processes in cooperation with leadership, IT, and operations.

· Partner with local compliance and business operations to assess, develop, and implement enhanced controls and processes.

3. Accreditation and Audits:

· Manage the NAPBS Accreditation process and audits.

· Perform annual privacy self-audits using IAPP standards.

4. Risk Management and Collaboration:

· Collaborate with legal, compliance, and information technology departments to identify and control privacy risks.

· Follow key trends and latest laws and regulations in consultation with legal counsel and make recommendations to address those trends.

· Identify and follow up on personal information protection issues requiring investigations, resolution, and/or legal action..

5. Monitoring and Reporting:

· Monitor and report to the CEO and senior management committees on privacy activities.

· Prepare management reporting on program issues and trends for compliance and risk management meetings and other governance meetings.

6. Incident Management and Data Sharing:

· Help set up the direction of privacy incident management processes and triggers

· Set the direction for third-party and internal data-sharing agreements.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

· Must have industry experience in a senior level role

· Min of at least 3 years in a leadership role.

· Strong understanding of Insurance, EBS operations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven track record of driving change and process improvement.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Experience managing remote teams across different regions.

· Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to travel as required.
