Ideogram is a generative AI startup looking for a dedicated Director of Finance to join the team. Our mission is to help people become more creative. We are developing state-of-the-art AI tools that will make creative expression more accessible and efficient. Our headquarters is in downtown Toronto, and we have a small presence in NYC.

About The Role

The Director of Finance at Ideogram will play a crucial role in defining and executing the financial strategy. The role will focus on analyzing and optimizing company financials.

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis and optimization, including analyzing/optimizing our product pricing/offerings and operational expenses.
  • Prepare, review, and manage financial statements, including balance sheet and income statements.
  • Work with bookkeepers, including invoicing, payments, and expense tracking.
  • Work with external vendors to ensure compliance on sales and income tax.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve financial efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a tech startup.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, bookkeeping, tax, and corporate business administration.
