Tasks:
  1. Conduct forest inventory cruises, surveys and field measurement
  2. Update computerized forest management information system
  3. Perform technical functions in preparation of forest management and harvest plan
  4. Implement, supervise and perform technical functions in silvicultural operation
  5. Enforce environmental, fire safety and accident prevention regulation
  6. Provide forestry education, advice and recommendations to woodlot owners
  7. Develop and maintain computer databases
Technical Experience:

Stand descriptive cruising

Wood property measurements

Forest cover mapping

Biometrics

Specialization or Experience:

Specialized environmental skills and knowledge

Area of specialization: Forest engineering and harvesting, Silviculture, Reforestation and tree improvement, Woodlands operations, Forest measurement and inventory assessment

Transportation/Travel Information:

Own transportation

Willing to travel

Valid driver's licence
