Typical Day in Role:
- Interacting with the business and implementing needed functionalities for the quoting system
- Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical solutions
- Leverage industry best practices to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Implement production-ready code and assist with integration with larger IT workflows
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a Developer (primarily backend)
- 3+ years of previous experience with Python
- 3+ years of previous experience with C++
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of equity derivative products
- Previous FI experience
Soft Skills:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- A high degree of flexibility, strong organizational and time management skills
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Education and Certifications: Certifications in Python and C++ are a bonus. Previous work experience is more of a priority.
