Position: Director of Deployment Project Management

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Define the organizational details for respective organization in effort to improve OI and customer satisfaction.
  2. Lead the DPM organization to achieve project objectives.
  3. Align and coordinate directly with Project directors and Projects VP on projects Strategy, Governance and Execution.
  4. Engage in Change, Configuration, Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Product, Budget, Resource, Contract/Sub-Contract, and Quality management initiatives.
  5. Oversee and co-ordinate Procurement bid activities, focusing on competitiveness.
  6. Accountable for Deployment project WP5 budgets and schedules.
  7. Responsible for driving and maintaining Deployment Project execution Ops Reviews.
  8. Ensure that all safety issues are implemented through company's safety processes and procedures.
  9. Lead alignment with COD heads on strategy, target pricing and technical & operational subjects relating to capture opportunities.
  10. Set up action plans meant to improve the quality of service provided as perceived by the Customer or to reduce associated costs.
  11. Act as the delegate for the Vice President, Deployment as required.
Key Requirements:
  1. Change agent and influencer of difficult situations.
  2. 15 years' experience in various roles within GTS/Hitachi Rail/Alcatel.
  3. 10 years people management experience.
  4. At least 10 years on various Project Sites.
  5. Display adept Product knowledge on end-to-end processes.
  6. Excellent knowledge on Deployment operations.
  7. Excellent knowledge of rail industry and technology.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong organization and negotiating skills.
  10. Possesses CBTC Technical Knowledge (HW/SW).
  11. Excellent knowledge in Life Cycle (end-to-end) analysis.
  12. Excellent Customer service experience.
  13. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. P. Eng. License.
