Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 6 months

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a CSA Analyst to be responsible for driving the effectiveness of the business operating model by effectively partnering with functional resources including Finance, Risk, Legal, Strategy, Human Resources, and Compliance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in Role:

Work with the broader CSA team with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  1. Process outgoing payment requests (enter payments/invoice details into our system)
  2. Raise invoices for incoming research in the US
  3. Reach out to vendors/clients for follow-ups on payments, tax information, etc.
  4. Basic Excel skills
  5. Basic PDF editing
  6. SQL queries, basic searching. We have queries built
Must-Have Skills:
  1. Be able to interpret emails and execute requests for clients, Excel skills to reconcile balances
  2. At least 0.5 years of Capital Markets experience in the form of co-op or internships
  3. A strong aptitude to work on initiatives and projects
  4. Advanced Excel Skills with Macros and use of Pivot Tables along with advanced skills with PPT & Word
  5. Strong Communications and Interpersonal skills
  6. Proven stakeholder management skills
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  1. Querying skills with SQL, pivot tables in Excel
  2. Someone with an interest in the IT space – can understand IT language (i.e., previous experience working with developers)
Soft Skills Required:

Understanding invoice processing, communication with clients

Education:
  1. Completed Undergraduate Degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or other quantitative fields
