Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Key

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be able to influence cross-functional teams to design innovative consumer products and release new features in Amazon Key mobile and web applications. You will have an enormous opportunity to impact the customer experience, design, architecture, and implementation of a cutting edge product that will be used every day. Maturity, high judgement, technical skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Lead cross functional development on new features from design through delivery in Amazon Key branded mobile and web applications
  2. Deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines and communicate regularly with the leadership on status, schedule, risks and change control
  3. Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple teams and vendors, navigating competing priorities
  4. Work with subject matter experts to lead and drive new technology initiatives and evaluations
  5. Develop and champion processes for efficiency and scale in our organization
  6. Drive content engagement, through partnering with stakeholders and product management. Measure, assess, and iterate constantly to drive greater user benefits
  7. Success in this role hinges on having natural curiosity, developing a deep understanding of the product’s use case and balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  2. 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  3. 3+ years of software development experience
  4. 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  5. Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  2. Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  3. Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
