Apprentice Machinist

*Apprentice Manual / Milling Machinist - Brampton, ON*We are currently seeking an Apprentice CNC Lathe and Milling Manual Machinist for our location in Brampton, Ontario. This is a great opportunity for long-term professional growth with a solid company that has been in operation for over 30 years.--*Responsibilities:** Produce machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.* Measure, examine, and inspect completed parts on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.* Properly utilize metal cutting techniques and principals.* Operation and set up of machines used to perform repetitive machining operations.--*Qualifications:** Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, charts, and tables.* Experience in making fittings/jigs and assembling parts, calculating dimensions, and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.* Excellent organizational skills* Able to remain flexible and respond to a variety of needs and situations--*We Offer:** Competitive pay* Full benefits package* Quality equipment* Opportunities for advancement* Excellent company culture* A clean and safe working environmentJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:* Day shiftWork Location: In person
