Sr. Product Manager – Tech, Finance Automation

Do you want to work in a role where you have the autonomy to push boundaries? Are you looking to create value for internal Finance customers and drive growth? Do you love to see an immediate impact from your actions?

Key job responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap. Identify and prioritize features and projects based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, UX, and engineering to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. Ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
  3. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Understand the technical details of the product and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to make informed product decisions. Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven enhancements.
  5. Customer Focus: Advocate for the customer at every step of the product development process. Gather feedback, conduct usability testing, and ensure the product meets the needs of its users.
  6. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in finance automation. Identify opportunities for innovation and incorporate them into the product roadmap.

A day in the life

As a Sr. PM-T, you will develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for unified workbench products. Your strong experience will enable you to define and manage enterprise level technology products and services. Being a highly self-motivated person, you will thrive in a rapidly changing ambiguous environment and deliver independently. Customer obsession is inherently in your DNA, you possess strong communication skills and are able to influence your stakeholders. You will have the freedom (and encouragement) to experiment, improve, invent, and innovate on behalf of our internal customers.

About the team

At Finance Automation (FinAuto), we build, operate, and scale systems that are responsible for hundreds of billions of dollars in transactions and are central to the success of Amazon and its partners. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. PM-T working to build unified workbench products for our internal finance customers comprised of more than 5000 front-line service center associates across global AR, AP, Payroll, Procurement, Real Estate, and Facilities.

  4. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  5. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  6. Experience managing technical products or online services
  7. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  8. Experience using data and metrics to develop business cases
