· Attend a 42-day training (3 rotations) program at the Meliadine mine site;

· E&I Trainee will learn during the training program how to :

· Learn how to operate heavy equipment such as vacuum truck, haul truck and roller packer

· Follow the Trainer’s instructions at all times;

· Those who successfully complete the program will be hired as full-time, permanent Agnico Eagle employees with the E&I Department

· The employee must succeed to graduate;

· Employees must respect AEM’s policies before and during the program.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

· Must pass a pre-employment medical exam and be deemed fit to work;

· Possess the physical requirements to perform the job;

· Possess strong work ethics, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team;

· Experience working in a multicultural environment;

· Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).

· Successfully complete a literacy and numeracy skill assessment;

· Those who successfully complete the program will be hired as full-time permanent Agnico Eagle employees with the Process Plant Department.

· Position is reserved for Inuit Beneficiary candidates.

· Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English.

Your Work Schedule:

· Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;

· Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site from Kivallliq Communities, Mirabel & Val d'Or.
