Job Title: Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineering Technologist

Randstad is excited to support one of our amazing clients with offices in London and Kitchener, ON, in their search for an Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineering Technologist. The individual in this role will work on Land Development, Transportation, and Municipal Engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience working through the entire life cycle of a project
  2. Extensive experience using Civil3D and related design software

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparing detailed Civil 3D models
  2. Preparing plan, profile, section, and earthworks drawings
  3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members including engineers, planners, and technical and administrative support staff
  4. Occasional site work as required

Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in subdivision and site plan Land Development, transportation, and municipal infrastructure
  • Proficient in design and drafting of grading, servicing, and stormwater management
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and AutoDesk Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of OBC and municipal/provincial standards is considered a strong asset
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Eligibility for registration with OACETT; C.Tech. or C.E.T. designation preferred
