Since 1979, Sameng has been involved in designing and implementing infrastructure projects in the Province of Alberta, particularly in the City of Edmonton region.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role as a Water Resource Engineer at Sameng Inc. The Water Resource Engineer will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks related to water resource management, stormwater management, water quality, hydrology, and stormwater. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to work primarily from the Edmonton, AB office but with flexibility for some remote work.Qualifications5+ years experience in Water Resource Management, Stormwater Management, and Hydrology skillsKnowledge of Water Quality and stormwaterStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience in conducting water resource assessmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldAdditional QualificationsWorking knowledge of relevant software and tools (SWMM, ESRI software, GRASS, HEC-RAS, ArcMap, Mike Urban and Mike Urban+)Master's or doctorate in Civil Engineering or related field (5 years of experience may include your thesis if relevant to Water Resource Engineer)Compensation Sameng is on the search for a seasoned Water Resource Engineer, with a minimum of five years of industry expertise. The ideal candidate will be competitively compensated based on their level of experience and in alignment with prevailing industry standards.
