The Trusted Advisor team is looking for a Product Leader to spearhead the next evolution of Trusted Advisor. This leader will evolve our AI-powered engine to uncover best practices not previously codified by humans, by leveraging the vast configuration and health insights available across AWS. This leader will drive the development of automation engines that resolve issues on customers' behalf with minimal human intervention, while implementing robust safety guardrails to protect customers from adverse impact on their businesses. Key job responsibilities
- Create a product vision, and execution strategy for next-gen Trusted Advisor optimization engine
- Engage with customers through a variety of channels and continuously understand their needs and response to our product to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Engage across AWS services and customer account teams to drive improvements in providing trusted guidance to customers to optimize their AWS workloads
- Partner with engineering teams to define and execute on product roadmap
- Define KPIs of product performance and obsessively drive to improve them.
- Provide effective written and verbal updates on the products and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders

About the team
Trusted Advisor is part of AWS' Cloud Optimization product portfolio. We partner with our peers in AWS Health to ensure our customers architect, build, and operate most optimally in AWS. As part of AWS Support, our customers are all customers of AWS, regardless of whether they're free-tier student users, or the largest enterprises. We collaborate with all AWS service teams to reflect the best practices in their services, and we provide feedback to them about the patterns we observe so that they can improve how their services are built.

Vancouver, BC, CAN

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

The base salary for this position ranges from $135,700/year up to $226,500/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
