DRONE LEAD

CFM is looking to hire an individual full time to our survey team to help grow and lead our drone division. We are currently accepting resumes for a Drone Lead at our Saint John, NB, location.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Civil or Geomatics Technology Program or Survey Engineering Program is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with drone mapping and processing.
  • Transport Canada Advanced Drone Pilot License.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using drone processing software.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts as required.
  • Candidate assets would include but not limited to: extensive experience in drone mapping, photogrammetry, lidar and processing, orthomosaics, RTK, surveying, and thermography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for drone fleet and software.
  • Estimate jobs, develop and/or maintain maintenance plan, and flight planning.
  • Ensure drone safe work practices and regulations are being followed and documented.
  • Fly or lead various complex drone projects.
  • Gather dimensional data and issue accurate and detailed reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
