We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team as Procurement Advisor. This position provides expert advice, support, and recommendations to both internal and external clients of the Yukon Government. We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented, quick-learning team player who excels in communication, analysis, research and stakeholder management. Our team fosters a collaborative work culture promoting effective communication and teamwork internally and across the Yukon Government.
Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Please note, selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Experience with contracting and/or procurement activities
- Experience drafting, developing and managing documents, guides and tools to support program delivery, contract management etc.
- Experience in client service and/or stakeholder management.
- Experience with research and analysis skills, including interpreting policy with intended outcomes of providing options and recommendations.
- Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Public Sector Procurement Program (PSPP) or similar supply chain certification would be considered assets.
- Experience in Project management would be considered an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
