Job Description
Proficiency with Core Java and object oriented designKnowledge and experience developing data-centric, web-based applications using JSF/JSP, Java(Collections, Multi-threading, socket programming), JavaScript, Sigma.js, Node.js, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Graph DB Titan/Janus, Elastic Search, Tomcat/JBOSS)Knowledge of and/or experience in building REST APIs, Web ServicesWorking knowledge and experience with Agile software developmentExperience with automated testing JunitKnowledge of code versioning tools such as SVN / GitKnowledge of design patterns and practical applications of themShould be able to build solutions which are easily configurable, deployable and secureResponsible for planning product iterations & releasing iterations on scheduleWriting reusable, testable, and efficient codeDesign and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high performance applicationsImplementation of security and data protectionProvides analysis of problems and recommends solutionsParticipates in system design and specifications, program logic and flow-charting, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and supportTranslate complex functional & technical requirements into detailed design Desired Skills 1-5 years’ experience in Core Java/JSF/JSP/PythonExperience in working on ETL, Big Data/HadoopHighly Tech Savvy and hands-on experience in building products from scratchPreferred Databases: Oracle/PostgreSQL, Cassandra, HBase, Mongo DB, CouchShould be highly analytical, algorithmic, logic drivenProduct development experience in agile environment will be a big plus though not mandatoryShould have in-depth knowledge on technology and development processesFamiliar with API development using node.JSUnderstanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workaroundsExperience in testing large data processing systems Technical Skills Core Java(Collections, Multi-threading, Socket programming)Javascript, Sigma.js, D3.js, Node.js, JSONAjax, CSS, HTMLElastic Search, Graph DB Titan/Janus, Cassandra, HBaseApache Tomcat, JBOSSJUnitSVN / Git #J-18808-Ljbffr-
