Responsibilities:

  1. Support supplier source inspection activities (frequent travel)
  2. Provide technical support and monitor deliverables and quality requirements
  3. Participate in investigations of quality issues, initiate corrective action requests and contingency plans
  4. Evaluate the quality performance of the various suppliers assigned to your mandate
  5. Plan and validate first parts inspections (FAI) with suppliers
  6. Participate in various internal governance processes and submit progress reports on projects
  7. Ensure completion of the mandate in accordance with established objectives
  8. Develop positive relationships with internal collaborators
How to thrive in this role?
  1. You have a bachelor's degree in engineering
  2. You have 3 to 5 years of experience in quality and/or operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry
  3. You work with a minimum of supervision
  4. You are a team player, a good communicator, and a self-starter with leadership and interpersonal skills
  5. You have good oral and written communication skills in English and French
  6. You have experience in manufacturing and assembling components with GD&T
  7. You possess knowledge of aviation regulations and associated quality standards
  8. You are able to travel
