The Finance Director is responsible for structuring finance deals for all producers and for keeping up with all federal, state, and local laws and ensuring they are being followed. It is also expected that the Director will manage deal flow to maximize profit, manage department revenue which includes charge-backs and adjustments including contracts in transit.

  • Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process
  • Oversee, train and develop Finance staff
  • Coach, mentor, and lead finance staff to top of market PVR numbers
  • Work with finance team to improve bank relations and reduce C.I.T. errors
  • Build rapport with customers to establish a base of referrals
  • Sell finance & insurance products to customers
  • Maintain impeccable reputation with lenders
  • Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner
  • Meet monthly objectives
  • Give a proper menu presentation
  • Understand tag and title laws; DMV
  • Adhere to all local and national regulations and work with sales management to ensure maximum profit
  • Work with service advisors when they turn over customers for warranty information
  • Must have a minimum of three years Automotive Finance Experience Required
  • Must have a strong work ethic, great attitude, and adhere to a strong code of personal ethics
  • Must have an excellent track record of proven performance
  • Must be self-motivated and goal-driven
  • Must be a team player with excellent leadership skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to create and maintain customer relationships
  • Must be proficient in computer skills (Internet, MS Outlook, DealerTrack, ADP/CDK)
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
