Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Bilingual Residential In House Appraiser/CRA who will support the oversight and integrity of RESL's appraisal process to ensure sound collateral against our residential mortgage book of business.Responsibilities:Review appraisal reports received from our Appraiser network and managed through our Appraisal Management Companies for accuracy of information, descriptive content and adherence to client’s credit policy, terms of reference and appraisal standards.Act as escalation point for complex, higher risk property appraisals to ensure sound collateral management in addition to supporting escalation signoffs within authorized limits.Ensure appraisal reports are within client’s Risk appetite, are appropriately rationalized & meet regulatory requirements.Monitor and consult on client’s Appraisal property risk triggers and Terms of Reference documents to ensure appraisals completed on behalf of the Bank are of high quality and meet policy, regulatory & appraisal body standards.Support in quality assurance against vendor appraisal reports to ensure Bank and appraisal standards are met.Desired Skill Set:Certified Residential Appraiser (CRA) or equivalent designationDesignated appraiser completing various residential inspections3 years of expert knowledge of Residential Appraisal standards through experience3 years of strong experience in Risk managementTakes ownership and manages appraisal escalations that require specific appraiser expertiseNice To Have:Bilingual - French/EnglishBeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
